[GI] GEOGRAPHICAL INDICATION PROTECTION OF “MUONG LO”” FOR RICE

On 22^nd January 2018, National Office of Intellectual Property has issued its Decision No. 464/QD-SHTT on granting Geographical Indication registration certificate No.00061 for the famous “Muong Lo” rice. People’s Committee of Nghia Lo Town is the organization in charge of managing this geographical indication.

Geographical area consists of  Trung Tam Ward, Tan An Ward, Pu Trang Ward, Cau Thia Ward, Nghia An Commune, Nghia Phuc Commune, Nghia Loi Commune of Nghia Lo Town, Thanh Luong Commune, Thach Luong Commune, Son A Commune, Hanh Son Commune, Phuc Son Commune, Phu Nham Commune of Van Chan District, Yen Bai Province.
